Mapping and Empowering Your Wounded Healer

The Chiron journey is a golden thread running through the tapestry of our lives. Identifying and following it will lead to deep insights, which continue to grow stronger and more vibrant as the wisdom we acquire on the journey continues to deepen.

In Greek mythology, Chiron was a centaur (half man, half horse) who was considered more cultured, intelligent, civilized, and kind than the other centaurs. He was known to be wise and just, and knowledgeable in medicine, plants and herbs, music, archery, and prophecy, due to a deep wound he suffered and was always seeking medicines to heal. In his quest for healing, he brought healing to his community by teaching others what he had found/learned and how to heal themselves.

In this offering, we will examine his journey as a metaphor and mirror for ourselves. Astrologically, the planetoid body named after Chiron is an indicator of our deepest wounds, as well as where we have the greatest potential for healing ourselves/others. Because of the slow-moving speed of Chiron, his sign placement is somewhat of a generational marker, connecting us in interesting ways to those born at similar times.

As we zoom in on each person’s unique Chiron placement, by examining his House placement in your chart, we can also discover how and where we can tap into the Chiron medicine available in our Natal Narrative. Through contemplative journal prompts before and during the workshop, investigation of the astrological natal chart of each participant, movement/meditation and other trauma-based techniques to dive deeper, we will map and build your Chiron Narrative; helping you integrate your wounded healer and empower you to more fully embrace and embody the gifts revealed through this Narrative.

In astrology, Saturn can be viewed as an indicator of our life purpose or soul purpose in this lifetime. Saturn is considered a great teacher, a disciplinarian, a task master, and its placement and movement within each person’s natal astrology chart can help build a picture of the life lessons we are here to master, and where we need to set boundaries, be responsible, and put in some hard work. Looking at the movement over time can illuminate patterns connected to these themes, and show us how to work with the opportunities for growth that are presented to us (sometimes perceived as restrictions or challenges).

Examining the placement of Saturn by astrological house and sign, generally and also specifically for each participant, will help us discover how and where we can tap into our own unique purpose. Through contemplative journal prompts before and during the workshop, investigation of your specific Saturn placement, and poly-vagal bi-lateral (EMDR) reSourcing rituals, we will map and build your Saturn story, embody the Saturn narrative in our bodies thereby integrating insights and empowring you to embrace your purpose as revealed through this Natal Narrative.

This “shortcut” focus helps bring clarity, compassion, and connectedness to our Self. In this offering, we will provide specific guidance on navigating your relationship revealed in the “Head and Tail” of your Dragon and the way the signs/house location can be integrated into a daily life perspective. We will integrate this gnosis with polyvagal, bi-lateral ReSourcing somatic practices, assisting us in honoring this demarcation in our Natal charts.
