What’s the Enneagram?

Enneagram: 9 Essences—9 passions—9 virtues—9 archetypal Sources.  The word Enneagram derives from the Greek words “ennea” (nine) and “gram” (something written) and refers to the 9 pointed figure, including a triangle and a hexad, contained within a circle.  This ancient symbol has been used to create a road map of archetypal points of spiritual inquiry, supporting a depth-oriented perspective of contemplating human instincts, ego structures & unique genius.

Instead of viewing humans through the lens of insurance-dictated DSM V “disorders” as modern psychology suggests, I have found much more success, accuracy, and compassion in understanding myself and others in context of our unique Enneagram imprint—particularly as it relates to the holy Trinity of the Trifix.

In our work together, you will be strongly encouraged to explore your unique Enneagram imprint by completing the RHETI as well as the IVQ and we will discuss, review and weave your results to best support your journey.

What is EMDR?

Eye Movement Desensitization Re-processing (EMDR) was created by Francine Shapiro as an active and compassionate way to ameliorate the experience of distress caused by difficult experiences all humans go through during their lifetimes. I have been utilizing EMDR techniques with women for the past several years, and the integration of this clinical approach has changed how I witness and support women moving through difficult times. This approach allows us to embody a more adaptive brain state; with the use of bi-lateral stimulation (BLS). Extensive information, research statistics, and videos are available for you to review at EMDR International Association.

I am a certified EMDR practitioner and a proud member of EMDRIA.

What is a GeniusGram?

Oftentimes, difficult experiences, unhealed intergeneratioanl patterns of abuse, grief, and loss, as well as the resultant limiting belief systems can dim the brilliance of our genius spark, keeping it hidden from ourselves and those around us. Through the work of creating your own personalized GeniusGram, we embark on a journey to explore the ancestral epigenetic, medical/physical, and spiritual patterns within your family of origin. Oftentimes these patterns can be accompanied with inherited limiting belief systems getting in the way of you embodying your own true genius. Over the past 19 years of creating these maps with women, I have found that this practice creates a tangible road map to move forward into shifting the next generation's ancestral inheritance, allowing you and your descendants to more easily identify, express and embody their unique genius spark.

You can learn more about the research of epigenetics and inherited family trauma from the work of Mark Wolynn.

Steward vs. Psychotherapist?

As your trauma steward, together we choose the freedom to co-create the space, therapeutic plan, and amount of time needed, based on your needs without an insurance-based diagnostic code telling us how to do this work.

I believe the loss of this “third party payor” creates flexibility and will improve your outcomes reflected in the speed in which you begin to feel better. Using my time-limited, body/ancestor/soul approach fosters a safe space to take the deep dive required and demanded for this work. I cannot do this work for you, but I can support you in doing this for yourSelf in your own uniquely adaptive ways.

My pledge to not diagnose you with a disorder guides the co-creation of your path-working map within.
